Injection Molding

Injection Molding is the process of forcing melted plastic in to a mold cavity. Once the plastic has cooled, the finished part can be ejected. This process is used to produce high volume production parts in a variety of thermoplastics.  Molded parts are structurally strong they can have smooth or textured ascetically pleasing surfaces. The injection molding process produces most of the plastic consumer products used every day. 3D Parts Mfg specialize in helping customers optimize designs for the injection molding process and make use of the fastest most efficient tooling options available. 3D Parts also offers transitional tooling options such as high volume 3D printing and urethane casting to fill the gap in time between tool kick off and full production.
